Gear, in Los Angeles and then in London, England. Working at LA Gear gave me the opportunity to work with a team that developed the European market and later the first subsidiary of the company.
I returned to the valley in the 90’s and started Ametza LLC buying and selling hay. Ametza is the Basque word for “dream,” and I was able to realize my dream of developing an equine pelletized feed brand that sold nationwide in Tractor Supply Co stores.

My children were born and raised in the Imperial Valley, and I credit their success to their teachers, coaches and mentors who live here in the community.
Imperial Valley gave me many opportunities in business and now I want to give back.

We need to encourage and bring new businesses to our valley so our youth will seek work in our county. By bringing a variety of new businesses to the Imperial Valley we will have more to offer our youth while increasing good jobs and revenue for our county.
Our safety is the foundation for our families to thrive in the Imperial Valley. Our law Enforcement and first responders need to be supported. It’s our duty to provide them with the necessary resources, because when they’re at their best, our community’s safety is ensured.
Serving as your Imperial County Supervisor for District 3 would be an honor and an opportunity to give back to the community that helped me raise my children.
